4月14日はグラベルツアー第6回でした

60kmのコースは主にグラベルで、1,700mの登りがありました。高さが 200 メートルを超えることのない短い登りが 9 つありました。これらの登りは 9 つのオフロード セクター (合計 48 km) の一部でした。

April 14th was gravel tours No.6

A 60km course of mostly gravel with 1,700m climbing. There were 9 short climbs never above 200m in height. There climbs formed part of 9 offroad sectors (48km total).

ライダーは6人、初心者から上級者まで、

MTB、グラベルバイク、シクロクロスバイクのミックスでした

トレイルでライダー同士が仲良くなるのを見るのは素晴らしいことです

ライダー全員が無事にコースを完走しました

It's great to see riders making friends on the trail.

All riders completed the course without incident.

8名のライダーが新潟の冬の終わりと春の始まりを象徴する素晴らしいコースを楽しみました。

ライダーはエキスパートから初心者までさまざま。6か月間ライドをしていないライダーもいましたが、コースを完走しました！

岐阜、愛知、三重（元々はオーストラリア！）と遠方からお越しいただきありがとうございました。

来月は4月14日と28日の2回のガイドライドを予定しています。2つの異なるコースを紹介する予定です。

Thank you for today's gravel ride!

8 riders enjoyed a wonderful course highlighting the end of winter and the beginning of spring in Niigata.

Riders ranged from experts to beginners. One rider hasn't ridden for 6 months but still completed the course!

Thank you for coming from as far away as Gifu, Aichi and Mie (originally Australia!).

Next month we are planning 2 guide rides on April 14th and 28th. We plan to introduce 2 different courses.

Gravel Rides #2

初めてのグラベルライド、 とても楽しめました。 お陰様で、家で眠っていたMTBと自分を起こすことができました。

天気は途中で降られるも最後は晴れ、 そのため、ぬ かるみや水路になったわだちを走る事が出来、 よい 経験になりました。

グラベル区間では、お二人について行けず、 ちぎ

れっぱなし。

足着き1回、転倒1回したが、無事完走できました。 ありがとうございました 次回11月も楽しみにしてます♪

Gravel Rides #2

It was my first gravel ride and I really enjoyed it. Thanks to the ride, I was able to wake up my MTB and myself from sleeping at home.

Although the weather started to rain during the course, it cleared up in the end.

Being able to run through the ruts that turned into mud and waterways was a great experience.

Although I tripped once and fell once, I was able to complete the race safely. Thank you very much. I'm looking forward to the next time in November ♪

8:00集合で、天気予報は晴れ予定でしたが、☔️

雨もあのしもう！

って事でスタート！

雨もまた楽しい😀

いつきてもいい感じのグラベルコース。

3年前にアンディと出会い、素晴らしいイベントやグラベルライドを共に出来て良かった。

最近、少し力をつけたのでライドが楽しい。

Today, I participated in a gravel ride organized by Andy.

 When we met at 8:00, the weather forecast was for sunny skies, but ☔️

 Let's face the rain!

 So let's start!

 Rain is also fun😀

 A gravel course that feels good no matter what time you come.

 I met Andy three years ago and have had the pleasure of sharing some great events and gravel rides with him.

 I've recently gained some strength, so I'm enjoying riding.

9月10日は柏崎初のグラベルツアーでした！

3人のライダーがSDA王滝の50kmトレーニングライドをしました。

5人のライダーが60kmのグラベルガイドライドをしました。

柏崎には素晴らしいグラベルロードがこんなにあるのかとライダー達も驚いたようです！

初心者から上級者まで楽しめるツアーですよ！

グラベルツアーNO.2は10月に開催予定

September 10th was the first gravel tour of Kashiwazaki!

3 riders did a 50km training session for SDA Otaki.

5 riders did a 60km gravel guide ride.

Riders seemed surprised by how many great gravel roads there are in Kashiwazaki!

These tours can be enjoyed by beginners and experts

Gravel Tour No.2 will be in October

9月のイベントに参加させていただきました。

いつもはロードバイクに乗っています。

マウンテンバイクは角田浜で少し乗っていますが、本格的なグラベルライドは初めてでした。

当日は約60kmのライド。

感想は・・・きつい！けど楽しい！　です。

ロードバイクとは違って、短時間でもスゴく疲れます。

でもとても楽しい。

景色はいいし、空気が美味しいです！

途中で飲んだ湧き水は人生で一番美味しい水でした。

ガイドの皆様には感謝しかありません。

ちゃんとその人のレベルに合わせてルートを選んでくれますし、

補給食も分けていただきました。

（あれで生き返った・・・）

ぜひまた参加したいです！

I participated in the event in September.

I usually ride a road bike.

I have been riding mountain bikes at Kakudahama trail for a while, but this was my first time on a full-fledged gravel ride.

The ride on the day was about 60km.

My impressions are... harsh!  But it's fun!  

Unlike road biking, it can be extremely tiring even for a short period of time.

But it's very fun.

The scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh!

The spring water I drank on the way was the most delicious water I've ever had in my life.

I can only thank all the guides.

They will choose the route according to your level,

We also shared supplementary food.

 (That brought me back to life...)

 I would love to participate again!

まず驚くのは、こんなに沢山のグラベルコースがあるのにびっくりです。

日頃、アンディがライドしながら見つけている努力がすごい。

グラベルコースは長く気持ちが良く眺めもバツグン！

いい疲れも気持ちいい🥴

The first thing that surprises me is how many gravel courses there are.

The effort that Andy makes to find these routes while riding is amazing.

The gravel course is long, comfortable, and has great views!

It feels good to be tired🥴

柏崎のグラベルは林業が盛んで林道＆グラベルがいっぱいあります。

Andy's gravel rides are very friendly.

In what way?

Andy watches the rider's breathing and selects the course even while riding, making it the best ride.

Kashiwazaki's gravel roads are flourishing with forestry, and there are many forest roads and gravel roads.

少人数のグループはガイドがご案内します。

柏崎の素晴らしいグラベルトレイルをご紹介します！

ご要望があれば、初心者グループと経験者グループに分かれます。

ご要望があれば、ショートコースとロングコースも提供します。

可能な限りライダーに合わせたコースをご用意させていただきます。

ライドに参加するには、グラベルバイク、マウンテンバイク、またはシクロクロスバイクが必要です。

スタート＆ゴールは柏崎市の夢の森公園。

数に限りがございます。

入場は先着順となります。

Small groups will be led by a guide.

We will introduce some of Kashiwazaki's wonderful gravel trails!

If there is the demand, we will split into beginner and experienced groups. 

Also if there is the demand we will offer short and long courses

As much as possible, we will provide courses to suit riders

To join the rides you will need a gravel bike, mountain bike or cyclocross bike.

The start and goal is Yume no Mori Park in Kashiwazaki.

Numbers will be limited.

Entry is on a first come first served basis.
